Hello:
Michelle Bachmann just lost NY and Florida (http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2011/07/14/talk-about-chutzpah-michele-bachmann-tries-yiddish-fails/) because she mangled a Yiddish word. I mean, she really mangled it.
Besides, isn't her husband gay anyway (http://motherjones.com/mojo/2011/07/michele-bachmann-marcus-bachmann-problem-counseling)? He prayed away his gayness, but it seems to be lurking just under the surface. Remember Ted Haggart? Maybe he was cured of the gay at Bachmann's clinic.

I wonder if she also says "hyper bowl" for hyperbole, "old-timer's disease" for Alzheimer's disease, "orientate" when she means orient, and "mute point" when she means moot point. And she maybe got her female cat "spaded"?

Yeah... I expected this.. people have difficulty confronting her on the issues. Even Romney is going to resort to cheap shots.

It WAS a cheap shot, wasn't it? Ok, I'm not as wonderful as you may have thought.
Nonetheless, her view on homosexuality IS an issue.

He's gay, huh? Prayed away his gayness? From your link:
And so on. Apple also finds Andrew Sullivan (who is gay) referring to Marcus as the "ssuper-sserial hunter of gays." This echoes something Bachmann's loudest critics in Minnesota have been hinting at—without any basis in fact—for a while now.
You're scraping the bottom, ex.

His "clinic" has become an issue:

Or maybe she asks people in wheelchairs to stand up, brags about being shot at. Perhaps she thinks Obama is "articulate and bright and clean." You know, that articulate guy who talked about "corpseman" that campaigned in 57 states, thought he was born because of the 1965 Selma march, thinks Afghans speak Arabic and sees dead people at his speeches (http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives2/2008/05/020607.php).
And by the way, did you know she earned a Master of Laws at William and Mary law school? Probably not, you probably think like Keith Ellison that she wants to keep women barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen (http://minnesotaindependent.com/84257/ellison-bachmann-wants-to-keep-women-barefoot-and-pregnant).

I got gaydar. Don't you?
What Bachmann does for a living IS an issue. But, I don't think she's stupid - not Palin stupid. She's an accomplished tax attorney, and a disciplined campaigner. That's a LOT different than Palin. And, I really don't care about her gaff's, and her misremembering history. Yeah, I'll make fun of 'em.
But, what I CARE about is her view on homosexuality. THAT has serious implications, whereas her mispronunciation of words doesn't.

This is why I can't ever run for office: I'm too ditzy.
The other day I confused "telescope" and "microscope". I also get a Minnesotan accent if I spend too much time around my family. Tell me THAT isn't a recipe for disaster.
Nope, I'll just stick to teaching... where my ditz-induced gaffs won't be as recognizable. ;)

They went after Palin and her children . Imagine the fun they will have muck raking looking for anything any of her adopted children did ?
They are also trying to divide us by religion. Stories are out there that her branch of Lutheranism hates Catholics. They think the Pope is the anti-Christ .

It's time for America to stop supporting homophobic politics. It's 2011, for crying out loud. HOW are we still allowing religious ideas to insert themselves in legislation and damage the rights of TAX PAYING citizens. Adult, tax paying citizens.
Baffles my mind.

They are also trying to divide us by religion. Hello again, tom:
Who is THEY? Republicans?? Don't most evangelical Republicans think Mormonism is a cult? Do they shy away from saying so?? I don't think they do. Does it divide you? I think it does.
By the way, you have to BE a believer before another believer could have ANY success dividing you. I'll just sit on the sidelines and watch your religionists destroy each other.

Go for it .
As I recall Obama declared his children out of bounds ;and the major press was compliant .
As for his religious connections ; In fact a lib group of reporters at the JournoList email list pledged to not investigate the Wright connection and plotted to attack anyone who did after ABC's Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos tossed some soft ball questions on the subject to the candidate .

As a lifelong member of the conservative Missouri-Synod Lutheran Church (LCMS) and daughter of a LCMS minister, I can speak to that. She was a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), which is even more conservative than the LCMS is. They don't hate Catholics, but aren't fond of them, and do believe (even if it's not in their printed literature or said out loud) that the Pope is the anti-Christ.

To be honest religion should have no part in politics. When one's religion becomes a big part of their politics then it becomes a big issue.

Bringing faith into politics is a BI PARTISAN disease. This isn't a "my side is better than your side" issue. It's the constituents, who eat that crud up, that cause the politician to do whatever it takes to make the ratings go up.
It's us. We vote, we take polls, we pay the taxes. As a whole, we need to stop supporting bad politics.
