Hi. I've pretty much always been irregular in terms of my periods, I've only had it for about a year and a half now so I know it's normal. But ever since about May, I've had this really weird thing where I'd get one normal period, then a second period that would last about 2 weeks and lead into the next month when it would happen again. The two week period would normally go until the 3rd or 4th of the next month. And the beginning of the two week period would be a very little amount of brown spotting, sometimes none at all for a day at a time. Today I just started my second one this month, and like I said it's been happening since May. How long will this last? Is anything wrong with me?

Only a doctor can tell you if anything is wrong with you. But I do know that I am VERY irregular, for no reason what so ever (ive been tested and checked and everything is fine) I have had 2 or 3 periods in one month, and I have skipped 3 months at a time, and I have had a non stop period for 2 months before. It sucks being irregular, but being irregular alone isn't going to hurt you.

However, see your doctor and rule out any possible causes, poly cystic ovarian syndrome, reproductive cancers, endometriosis, and many others that can cause this problem.

Good luck!
