Yesterday I forgot to take my pill at the normal time, and there for took it 13 hours later... But today I took my pill at the right time... am I protected when having sex? OR do I need to use extra protection for a week ?

Should you be all right? Yes.

Would I take a chance? No.

Nothing is 100% effective. Given a change in schedule - I'd be double sure.

You do know the pill is not 100 percent effective, even when taken properly and on time, so you are never 100 percent protected.

If you are not wanting a baby, you should consider using two forms all the time.
