I am searching for a VHS movie I rented around 1990. I thought the name was like Marie, but searched for it and can not find it. It was about a mother in another country who tried to save her second child from being taken like her first child was to serve as a solider in a war that was going on. She cut off some of the foot so they wouldn't be taken. It saved that child, but the another child was taken instead. Some where in the movie the soldiers killed her. But I can not find it anywhere. Can anyone help.
