How do you keep copperheads away from yard and garden

Pretty difficult. There is a product called "snake away" but we live in the North GA mountains and I find them periodically. Fortunately they have a weak poison and very small fangs. Shovel across the neck works and I'd hope for a couple of King snakes!!
