I have an old Homart 600 Furnce withan HQ Blower.
Model# 867-6600 (1940's I believe)
The blower doesn't comes ON? I've tried both the AUTO and ON options and had no luck. I noticed the front of the Blower has a switch, after flipping this switch the blower simply stays ON until flipping the switch again? I also, opened my thermostat up to check the wiring (3 wire and a red bridge wire) and only noticed a loose wire, I tightened the screw and still, no luck. I followed the wires form the TS to the Furnace and wires seem a bit old...
Where should these wires be connected?
Should I replace the wire and is it difficult to re-wire?
Has anyone experienced anything similar? And/or found a solution?
Thank you in advance.
