So there's this guy who says he says he likes my friend but just the other night when we were hanging out he was completely flirting with me, playing around and what not. But then as soon as my friend showed up he started doing the same thing to her for the rest of the night. Is it possible he has feelings for both of us or was I just some entertainment for him until she showed up? Cause that's just rude and I don't want to put up with that anymore.

It would help to know how old he is -- 12, 17, 25, 43?
Does he have a reputation as a heart-breaker or a flirt?

He's 18, and yes he's known as bit of a flirt

I'm guessing that he has feelings for only one person -- himself. He's testing the waters with his flirting, and at this point is probably not serious about any girl.
That's what flirting is, testing and experimenting and finding out whom you have chemistry with. That's what he's doing right now. This reminds me of a quote from The King and I: "A girl is like a blossom, with honey for just one man. A man is like a honey bee and gather all he can. To fly from blossom to blossom a honey bee must be free. But blossom must not ever fly from bee to bee to bee."
Of course, girls flirt too for the same reason boys do, to check out who is the most compatible.
