Hi.
I have been trying to lose weight through lots of different diets, and through rigorous exercise. But my addiction to junk food (salt and vinegar chips in particular) is what is causing me not to lose any weight. How can I get over my addiction so that I can start achieving my goals? Are there any detoxes that work?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Cut back but do not do away with some foods that are causing a serious issue, instead of a 10 lb bag ( OK one pound) buy one of those bags with a few chips to satisfy a taste and use it as a reward for meeting goals.

But it like any addiction is done though will power and desire

Like Chuck said, will power.

Stop buying the chips. Stop eating the chips. Drink a glass of water instead, or grab some carrots. Have something handy, that's healthy, instead of the chips.

You have the power to either eat the chips, or put them away. It's all on you and how badly you want to lose weight.

How do you get the chips and other junk food?

Don't buy them and don't have them available.

You're using diets and wanting detoxes that won't work for you because you are shooting yourself in the foot from the get-go. Then it's too easy for you to say, "Oh, that stupid diet didn't work" or "Detoxes are worthless." It's YOU who has to have the self-control.
