Having some problems with my Kenmore Quiet Guard 3. Its not quiet anymore! Its sounds like an airplane taking off. What could this be? Everything else seems to work fine. I must mention its about 6 years old.

Your washer also has spray arms which are designed to float on a water stream to provide force and reduce friction, also can wear out. Has anything been done at or around the cabinet that could have disturbed the sound insulation blanket?
