My maytag french door bottom freezer frig is leaking water to floor. I can't find the source. It is possible this has something to do with draining pan. AM I right ? I never connected the water dispenser so it can not be that.

You must have moved the drain pan that catches water when it defrosts every day. Just look under unit and move pan in slots under drain hose and the problem will be cured. You really probably need to clean under it and vacuum out and wash out the coils with a light spray of water. Then vacuum up water with wet-vac. You may have to pull out refrigerator from wall and remove back panel to get at the coils and see the drain hose. The drain pan slides out like a drawer and you can wash it out. Sometimes you find dead rats in it, etc. After sliding out drain pan spray out coils (unplug unit first) and vacuum up water and dirt. You will be surprised at how much dirt is in your coils. This will lower your electric bill and make it last longer so you won't have to buy a new unit in a year or so. DrTom4444
