Chiropractors don't treat canines. Your need a regular vet. Is your dog overweight?

This site only has an equine chiropractor but there is a hydrotherapist, might be worth talking to them to see if they can help:

And here is a chiropractor who works with a variety of animals, he is in DerdePoortPark.

There are vets trained in the chiropractic theory, and more coming every year. If you have not had a definitive diagnosis of your dachshund's problem, I would highly recommend it before you have someone 'realign' his spine.

There is a great preponderance of disk problems in the dachshund breed, and, while you may be able to achieve some relief from the pain and lack of activity in a mild case, it will be temporary. In a case involving some degree of paralysis, other treatment options may be much more favorable. The dogs spine is notably different in the main area of the lower back and not so tolerant of spinal cord injury as we humans.
