Does furniture at Ikea meet high quality standards? If not, where can I buy cheap but durable furniture?

I've actually had really good luck with Ikea furniture. It has definitely been durable. The cooking supplies, on the other hand, are crap!

That is the issue, do you want really "good" or do you want really cheap. IKEA is a good average product. I have bought beds and futon and carts there and they were all worth the money, Was the fulton as good as my 2000 dollar couch, no, but it was not 2000 dollars either
