HI! I have a Craftsman 18.5 HP tractor which starts easily then starts dying and revving back up. It will do this many times until it simply dies. New battery and plug. Any ideas? Thanks!

Possibly indicates a partially closed choke or, more likely a clogged main carb jet or kinked fuel line. Sucks the bowl dry in reving up and then runs out of gas.

After 35 minutes of running the motor is hot and shuts off. Once motor cools off it starts up. What is the cause?
