This bracelet/cuff was bought for my mother over 50+ years ago. It came from either Gallup NM or Santa Fe. Not sure. It was old pawn and for some reason it seems it was the Kingman or Bis bee mine. The cuff is 180 grams of silver or 5.79 oz, but does not say sterling or .925 that I can find. The Bear claws appear to be real.
The hallmark on the cuff is FM I have not been able to find anything on this artist.
Please let me know if you can help and what your fee would be. We are thinking of selling the piece, which is another problem as we have no idea where to do that either.
I am also wondering if the cuff should be cleaned and polished?
The dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches wide
7 1/2 " circumference inside
1 1/2 " opening

Cry, even if you included a picture in your post we could not identify your cuff bracelet for you. We don't charge 'fees' for anything. Sorry, but silver jewellery of any description, be it bracelet, broach, or necklace from the southwest are a dime a dozen and all look the same basically. The artist or maker seldom put their hallmark on unless they are extremely well known and their pieces are few and far between with a high price tag.

Sure the work is hand done, I have several pieces collected over many years of trips to the Southwest. I didn't say the Hallmark is not important in my post. And I didn't say pieces similar to yours are a dime a dozen. Don't take offence for a piece of jewellery, please.

If you feel others here can help you, then post a pic of your jewellery.

A disagree is only warranted if my remarks were incorrect, they weren't.

We are all volunteers here, Cry, with other occupations to occupy our time.

Forget one important note, of course the cuff should be cleaned and polished if it is good silver.

E Bay or Fijiji would be a good place to try and sell it. All it takes is a photo, description and price.
