This question is related to Mathematics which I got while deriving a relation.

I think the simplest way to write it would be:

(a^2 + b^2 + c^2)^2-2(a^4+b^4+c^4)

If all the signs were the same it would be easy (that second term would go away), but since the signs are opposite for the 2nd-degree terms and the 4th-degree terms, there isn't much you can do.
