I can't remember the name of this movie and its been bugging me for the longest time. It was some animated space movie aired on TV in two parts. From what I can remember it was about a little boy that had a glove with some kind of powers. The story was centered around the boy running from people from different sides trying to claim it and it takes place on a planet and on earth.

Invasion America 98

A very human-like alien representative/dignitary sets out for Earth on a mission of peace, but there's a covert movement among the emissary's own people that would much rather seize control of Earth.
After a failed assassination attempt by the hostile faction, the alien's forced to go into hiding on Earth. He starts a new life as an Earthling and eventually marries and has a son.

Years later his alien-human hybrid son, now a young man, learns of his secret alien heritage after the conspirators track him down.
The young man must go on the run, and attempt to uncover the plans of the conspirators armed only with his father's power glove which can only be worn by someone of royal blood.A few of his kind were hiding on Earth and still loyal to his father's cause. He finds help from the sheriff who was also an alien and his father's friend.
I remember watching it on WB

Nah I don't think this was it. I remember it being aired over two nights for a two hours each. I remember the story was focused around the kid having a powerful glove that when worn, gave him powers. I don't know I tried searching for it, but with such little information I couldn't find anything. Thanks for the suggestion
