I have had my crib growled and vibrated in feb 2010. My oldest son has been grabbed and pulled off his bed twice and also been grabbed a few times. Our hallway light was turned on and we had it off before we went to bed. Then Last week June 8th 2011 ant 312am I heard tapping sounds in our hallway and saw what looked like a shadow figure head trying to peek into my bedroom. Then more tapping sounds. I then woke up my boyfriend and my brother and they both heard it too. Went downstairs to fix our coffee went back upstairs to lay down for a bit while waiting for the coffee to brew and my brother called out to me to come to his room. Now his room is right in front of the air conditioner vent *central air* so his room stays really comfy. I went into it and it was HOT and HEAVY. I mean you can feel and almost taste how heavy it was. I then turned and looked into the corner of the room near the closet and thought there's something there. And as I thought that my brother said there's something there. I felt my scalp and my entire body get goosebumps! Ive gotten goosebumps before but NOTHING like this. It was almost to the point of hurting the hair stood up so much on my head! I hollered for my boyfriend to come here and he came in and then we all looked and saw it. A shadow type figure. We all had goosebumps yet it was HOT in his room. We the left and went downstairs and had coffee. That was Wednesday. Now Our bathroom door downstairs keeps locking itself. The next day after seeing that shadow.. That same bathroom door slammed shut on my best friends son while he was going to the bathroom and I had told him to leave it open cause it seems to lock itself so he did and it slammed shut and locked and it scared him very badly and my three boys were at the table eating there lunch when this happened and my brother and boyfriend were at work. Friday my exhusband got my two older boys and that night more tapping Saturday more tapping and Sunday my boyfriends sister dropped off my youngest child And he went into the pantry with my cat pangar. I went about the kitchen cooking breakfast and just went to the stove to flip the hashbrowns when I heard him scream as if he was scared and yet in pain! I got to the pantry door and it was shut and the light was off. I went to push the door open and pangar bolted right out and I opened it more and grabbed gabe. He was beat red and crying hard. Took me ten minutes to calm him down. Well I started cooking the eggs and my boyfriend came in picked gabe up and hugged him and said ew woah have to change him brb. Then my boyfriend called for me. I went in and he said when did gabe get a scratch? It was about two/three inches long in a straight line from left to right on his little belly. And it was new cause it was still bleeding and welting up. I said well he was in the pantry a few minutes ago with pangar when he was screaming. But pangar couldn't have scratched him because my cat was declawed. And yes he has his back feet but he has NEVER clawed my children AND gabe won't pick up pangar cause one he's fat and two gabe had a sucker in his little fist and he only pets the cats. And pumpkin was in the sunroom when this took place sleeping in front of the window. Anyway that was Sunday. The Monday morning I was up at 2am. Couldn't sleep. We started shutting our bedroom door because of the tapping. And the tapping started tapping about 1130pm and would last until 5am. About three am I went to go to the bathroom to pee and I left the bathroom door open and I could see in the hallway. It tapped on the wall in the hallway and I couldn't see it! But I felt it. So I left the bathroom light on and ran to bed and woke up my boyfriend so he could turn the bathroom light off and he went ahead went to the bathroom came back to bed and fell asleep. Anyway it was tapping again and that's when I saw a shadowy mass nearing my sons crib. Which is next to my bed. I moved the crib after the growling incident. I then woke stephen up. And I called for my brother. As soon as I did that that tapping that was happening in the hallway.. it tapped on my closet door! Then when shawn came into my bedroom it tapped outside. I ended up not going back to sleep until about sixish yesterday morning and woke up about 820am. What am I dealing with? What is going on? Im getting tired and drained from not sleeping.. and I've been told it's a trickster.. I've been told its demonic.. does anyone know what it could be?

I can tell you what it is. Have you ever had any problems before 2010? At any other house? Have you had any dealings with the occult? Who told you it was a trickster? Who told you it was demonic? Sorry for the questions, I'm just trying to get more of a feel for your background. Hang in there... we can get answers to you.

A medium I spoke to Monday said it was a mischievous or trickster.. a man I talked to before her said it sounded demonic and he recommended me to get ahold of someone and this was yesterday. I called the person he told me to contact today after posting this and she said she didn't think it was demonic but also a trickster. I understand your questions except I'm confused about if I have had any dealings with the occult.. if you could elaborate or explain to me I can answer this question better. Is there a reason why you felt you had to ask the first three questions? Just curious and I am glad you answered my question above! Im just worried.. I do know that last night is the first night its been quiet since last week Wednesday.

Well, I'm trying to get a feel for why it is there. For instance, if you have had problems like this before... even from childhood, it could be the same spirit attached to you. If these problems started when you moved into the home, it could be a spirit that was already residing there. I asked about the occult because dabbling in these activities is one of the best ways to open a spiritual door in your life for something to walk through. The term occult refers to acts that have to deal with secret of hidden knowledge and the means of possessing that knowledge or power. The occult is anything from dealing with mediums and psychics, to playing ouija borads, or dealing in witchcraft. Charmed items, spells, just about anything you can think that has to do with alternative religions and practices. Again, I'm just trying to get a feel for where this could be coming from. May I ask what type of person this man who said it was demonic told you to get in touch with? Was it a member of the clergy or some other type of individual?

No I have not dabbled in any kind of witch craft. I have been studying and reading books about different religions and how each one has something that involves another. I have never seen or touch a ouija boards in my life cept on TV or the net. Ive been told I am.. sensitive.. and yes I have had experiances as a young child but haven't delt with something like this before.. I have felt things.. sense things.. but nothing like this.. I believe in God and believe in Jesus but I also believe there is more then what the bible is saying cause there is a lot of holes in it. The man I talked to used to be in a paranormal investigating group but disbanded because too many people were faking it and last family tried to steal their stuff. He seemed nice and guinunely *sorry for any misspelled words* worried about my situation.

Well again tonight more tapping and a couple of actual knocks. And my bed shook a bit when I continued to ignore it. It got got hot in my bedroom and woke my boyfriend up to complain and he of course turned to his side and went back to sleep. We have a fun in the hallway that we have going at night for the sound but also to help circulate the air. And usually I can feel the air moving and this morning couldn't. Anyway as soon as I complained I hear the fan being tilted up and all of a sudden I could feel the air moving again. Then there was a couple more taps. When I didn't respond (I was told to ignore it) it freakin moved the fan back and did a loud knock. Well my boyfriend got up about 400am and went to the bathroom and gabe my 2 year old whimpered and started talking in his sleep. Stephen came in gabe said he was here.. he was here. I got angry and said you will LEAVE my baby alone and my other children! Or you will wish you never upset me! Well Stephen picked gabe up and put him in bed with me and went downstairs to get ready for work. Then he cam back upstairs got next to gabe. He said well its downstairs. I said how do you know? He goes well it was scratching the box in the kitchen. I said are you sure it wasn't pumpkin or pangar? He said neither of the cats were in there. He said I heard gabe say daddy so I came up here since I was already freaking out. That's when I informed him gabe didn't say daddy. Stephen said are you sure and I said I swear gabe didn't call for you.

With the number of witnesses and the consistency of what is happening I would suggest that you get with the local ministry of your church and have the house blessed.

Could you please expand on this and any other physical interaction , like the scratching, that has taken place.

When the first time this happen in feb I contacted my pastor. He recommended another paster where I was living since I was almost 45 minutes away from him. I called the paster he recommended and he said he would get back to me. Well a day goes by and nothing from him so I approached the paster that was living next door in the apartment next to us *which by the way was my boyfriends old apartment before living here* He said he would come over to pray. Now I have two brothers and both of them have lived with me but at different times. The incident in February my brother jeremy lived with us he moved out a week after the incident happened. The incidents that are happening now my second brother Shawn lives with us now. So anyway Jeremy sits on the top set of our apartment with my two older children so when the paster was ready for them to come in they would be right there. I was holding Gabe in my arms. We went into my bedroom and stood by Gabes crib. As the pastor started telling me the story about how jesus casted the demons out into the pigs the crib and floor vibrated. I asked him if he had felt that and he said yes. He asked if the kids were running in the hall. I said let me go see. I went out there and asked jeremy and he said no they were all sitting on the step waiting to be called into the bedroom. So I told the paster and we all then went into my bedroom. We all gather into a circle and the pastor started talking to us about the blood of jesus and his love and around the crib area there was a growl and the floor vibrated. My brother jeremys eyes got huge and was freaked and Zeke my oldest said Mommy is there a monster in your room? And I lied and said No honey that's just uncle jeremys stomach. He must be very hungry. The paster claimed he did not hear the growling but he did feel the floor vibrate. He said a prayer and left very quickly after that. Jeremy said are you sure there isn't any toys are anything that couldve made that sound and vibrated the floor and I said no. But he wasn't convinced so he went through the crib under it above it into the bathroom to see if that couldve made the noice and he came downstairs freaked. A week later his girlfriend came up and he moved back to moms. Things seem to calm down. Those were the only two incidents that happened at that time. Also at this time we had weird feelings in the bathroom downstairs and that door was always locking.. then jeremy left and it seemed to not lock anymore unless you were the one locking it.

The grabbing incident.. Zeke a couple times was crying at different times and he was on the floor crying saying something grabbed him and pulled him off the bed I cannot tell you the exact date when those happen cept they did happen this year. And a few times was just grabbed. Ethan said he was grabbed a couple times and that was a month ago. Since then we have bought a bunk bed and have zeke and ethan share a room. Course we put the bunk beds into ethans room. But Ethan still felt that grab and that was in his room after zeke came in to share the room with him.

Gabe is what I described.. I was cooking breakfast and he was playing in the pantry and pangar was in there and he started crying hard and as if he was in pain. I went to open the pantry door cause it was shut and pangar bolted out of that room very fast.. he's a fat cat and I have never seen him run that fast except to play with pumpkin and pumpkin was in the sunroom sleeping in the window. Anyway Gabe was crying and took about ten minutes to calm him down and I didn't see anything or anywhere he couldve been hurt.. but I was only glancing at arms fingers face.. I didn't think to check his stomach. And my boyfriend came in picked him up and noticed he needed a diaper change took him into the living room and that's when he saw the scratch. It was in a perfect straight line no jagged lines or ripped skin like as if a cat pushed off Gabe. Cause pangar is declawed cept his back paws and he has never EVER hurt gabe. Actually he lets gabe sit on him and lay on him ALL the TIME! The scratch is about two to three inches. It was starting to welt up and bleed.

Monday I called the paster that my pastor had recommended and he said he would call me back tomorrow which was yesterday and he still hasn't as of yet.

We have had a few weird things happen since Feb 2010 but nothing to make us think something was going on.. the closet door opening and we would have to shut it. Few weeks ago the bathroom door downstairs started locking itself again and then last week after the first night we heard the tapping and saw the shadow figure in my doorway and in shawns room it slammed shut and locked with my best friends son in there. Gabe laughing and cooing to something in the air and waving. And this year well this past two weeks he's been upstairs or down here and would be waving and laughing at something and OR go around saying HELLLOOOOO HELLLLLOOOOOO as if he was trying to find someone.

As for the increasing or remaining.. this is the first time this has happen to me with the tapping and seeing a shadow head peeking into my room. I have had some experiences since I was a child but this is the most I have experienced the paranormal.

We are annoyed and tired.. I get creeped out cause I feel like something is watching me when I take a shower and that's the only time I feel like its watching me except at night. My brother shawn who's used to being around spirits is starting to get freaked and creeped out. Stephen who's experiences are slim to none.. is freaked out. The kids haven't really acted scared cept wanting a night light in their room and well ethans been having nightmares lately. Im not tooo worried but in a way I am cause it seems to be centered on me and the kids.. and my brother and this morning was the first time it actually did something with just stephen around. Im an seven or eight on the scared factor. Now that I thought about it.. Gabe is scared of the dark like I am and will NOT go into my bedroom unless I'm with him and turn the light on.

According to my brother he's heard footsteps and sounds and even toys go off and me and stephen and gabe were gone at stephens parents and my ex husband had our two older boys so there was no one to set the toys off and they were in the closet under the stairs and there were no cats around it. Pumpkin was sleeping on the couch and pangar on the recliner sleeping.

I'd love to get a lengthy response going for you but I have a few questions I want to ask before I forget.
What religious background do you have? You said you believe in God and Jesus... what holes do you refer to that are in the bible? What denominations are these pastors you have been trying to deal with? What type of prayer did he pray before he left? Why is your brother Shawn USED to being around spirits? What sorts of experiences did you have when you were younger?

Sorry for the questions, I just want to get as much info as I can. Hang in there.

Christian/Pentacostal. Pentacostal for the denominations of the pasters and the paster next to me is christian he prayed the blood of jesus over our family and home. As for my brother and I we were always around spirits as children could sense them and see them even now as adults. As for the holes its just an opinion of mine and as of right now I'm not wanting to get into a debate.. I just need answers about what is going on.

Well what you have in your home IS demonic. I'm concerned about the comment you made earlier in your post...
I got angry and said you will LEAVE my baby alone and my other children! Or you will wish you never upset me! One thing you have to understand is this... YOU can't fight this. Your saying that probably made it chuckle... because it knows no matter how mad you get there isn't anything you can do against it... or I would hope by now you would have done it. The only power able to stand against these spirits is the power of God. Here's something a lot of people struggle with... in most cases God will not remove this things for us. We (as His church) CAN remove spirits, but only by HIS power. When Christ left this earth and the church was established at Pentecost, he left all these dealings to the church... under HIS power and HIS authority. Jesus didn't say I'm going to go ahead of you in all that you do and tell the devil to leave you alone. No, he told his followers (there were more there than just the 12 disciples), "GO into all the world...and these signs SHALL follow THOSE THAT BELIEVE...in My name THEY will drive out demons..." Also, during his earthly ministry Jesus told his FOLLOWERS in the Gospel of Luke, "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." So just from these two examples this is what we have... God telling his followers that they have authority in HIS name to drive out demons. We are also told we will not be harmed. NO WHERE in the bible does it tell us to fear the devil. But this is the key to those scriptures (and many others like them)... who has Jesus given that authority to? When he gave them authority over every evil power it was to His disciples (not just the 12). When he ascended and told them to go into all the world and to cast out demons... he was talking to his disciples again. This authority is given to those who are BORN AGAIN believer, no other. Also remember that key word... they that BELIEVE. You can't take charge over spirits like that if you don't really believe you can... and the way you worded that pastor coming to your home and leaving quickly doesn't sound to me like he BELIEVED what he was there to do. Now you said you believe in God/Jesus... but I have to wonder to what degree... in James we are told even the demons believe there is a God... and TREMBLE. If you claim a belief in God, I'm wondering why you even consulted a "medium".. something that God ABSOLUTELY forbid for His people to do. It's not the believing in God that saves you... it's what you do with that belief. Quite frankly I'm ashamed of the one pastor who won't call you back... I'm ashamed of the pastor who came over for leaving so quickly. I'm still confused why your own pastor won't come to your house. I don't care if it is 45 minutes away. I drive over 30 minutes to church every week and you better believe I would expect my pastor to do the same when I am in need. Just because your help is lacking does not void God's power over this. Please know that. At this point you have two options really... you can either move and hope it's not the type of spirit that is attached to you instead of your home... or you can stay and get your spiritual lives in order to stand against this spirit. I'm sorry if this response was rather "upfront"... I tried to word it to be sensitive to your situation... but that is the truth what is going on in your home. You need the light of Jesus Christ in that home... but there are conditions that come with that authority.

Okay, #1 maiden, You should know better than to threaten a spirit, whether it be angelic or demonic. I understand that with the exhaustion over this situation and with it going on for so long, it can be very wearing and emotions and tempers can be very short and chaotic/over dramatic. But giving threat to a spirit can make it "laugh" or enrage it, which then could cause more things to happen. I have been thinking about a lot of things dealing with this situation. For instance, it possibly starting before Feb. in the other apt. when we wondered if someone was breaking in and moving things around/messing with the windows etc. I agree that it was wrong of the pastor to get out so quickly, he is a newbie and that was probably his first experience with this and he probably really didn't know what he was doing or how to handle something I don't think he really believes in, in the first place. Have you tried approaching it respectfully and politely, without a negative tone in your voice at all, and letting it know that you know it is there and you respect the fact that it might have been there this whole time. But that you ask if it could please leave yourself and your family alone so that everyone can live peacefully amongst each other etc. If it is a peaceful spirit, it should respect your wishes if you approach it in a kind manner. If it is one that is more angry etc. and causing destruction (which I am not sure of because of the fan incident and some other things) try getting mirrors to put in your windows. Like in your bedroom etc. and see if it stops. The mirrors reflect negative energy back to the spirit bringing it on if the spirit is really demonic. But you need to bless the window and the mirror while you put it in the windows, each and every time. Saying what comes to heart about no harm shall come to anyone in the house, spirit or living being, but will reflect the negative energy back to the ones bringing it to the home and family 3 fold. And before I get any snide remark about this from anyone... I am speaking from experience. Lived in a house with a few spirits, one of which was causing a lot of chaos and we did the mirror thing and it got better afterwards. If you want to know more about that maiden, I will tell you later. Now onto the religious aspect of all this. I know for a fact that Maiden believes in god and Jesus, and that she also believes that things have been twisted or have had parts being left out in the bible. That is very understandable considering various religions have taken bits and parts of the main core scriptures and made their own bibles to fit their own beliefs. That does not mean her faith in god is lagging in any way by seeing there are many things that don't seem to fit together, it just means her faith is lagging in man and what man does to fit and manipulate its own thoughts/beliefs and ideas to lure people into their own way of thinking... you know, one of them there sins. So, Haunting helper, for you to downright tell maiden that She can't fight this spirit by insinuating she does not have a solid faith in god and therefore does not have the power is a bit like casting stones... None of us are without sin as humans, and for her to go to a medium for ideas or help with this situation isn't for us to say whether it is right or wrong. That is between her and god, not her and the bible/you/me/rest of the world. Sometimes god brings people into our lives to help us in need when we least expect it, even if it comes in the form of someone whom others would not agree with, but it is not for us to judge. Thou shalt not judge lest yee shall be judged. Snakes and scorpions still poison people and sometimes those demons defeat us on earth in the living realm when it's our time or how our brain chemistry has been genetically made up, it doesn't mean that we are defeated in the after life... but that's between us and god, no one else. So Miss Maiden, keep your faith and spirits high and trust that you can defeat this spirits antics, though remember it may still remain around and about but try to make peace with them and keep yourself emotionally stable and remember your please and thank you's :) Maybe it is just bored and wants some attention as well (since it has played with gabe etc.) And try to lower the yelling and stress level in the house, if you are more positive with each other then positive will reflect itself, and try not to be too high strung (it brings on an abundance of energy that can be absorbed by a lot of things). I said she can't fight this spirit in the context of her quote. My whole point was that she CAN fight this spirit in Jesus Christ. We have all sinned, and if somehow it sounded like I was without, my apologies... but that wasn't my point. Maiden, try your friends way. It certainly sounds more politically correct and happy. Try and ignore it... talk nice to it... maybe it will go away if you put mirrors around your windows. But if it stays, I would be more than happy to continue talking with you.

It has been several years since I've checked this thread.. It ended up being demonic with also a spirit too. My pastor refused to come help me because he felt that someone in my home weren't on the same page religion wise. It took a woman with cancer in her skull all the way from Oklahoma to cleanse my home. My husband (at that time my boyfriend) witness a shadow figure all three of us (my brother was the third person) were in the room when it happened. The room got very pressured very hot and it grew into a shape of a man whose head touched the ceiling and then it was gone. My husband flipped that switch and said don't make me get my holy water I got a squirt gun! He is now a believer. I have old him and his family I wanted to become a minister and demonologist to help families not go through this like we have. My side of the family is happy but his claims its not beneficial for my family. Now I will get tapping once in awhile.. I was told it's a form of a warning. And the reason I'm responding now is.. Zeke woke me up crying and screaming from a nightmare.. That in turn woke me up from a nightmare.. Before I fell asleep a shadowlike creature like a black cat but wasn't pumpkin was in our doorway but quickly left this was before I fell asleep. I dreamt that a black cat stuff animal? But don't remember the reason it was there cept I was opening a envolope holding salt and the crystals big enough to make me think rock salt.. Mixed with sage. And as I'm being attacked by a woman with a gun I'm assuming she was possessed.. I woke up with Zeke crying and Stephen telling me Zeke is crying. I get up go in there and zeke proceeds to tell me his webkins stuff animal was making big bugs big enough to destroy the world and Ethan or someone took out the squeaker and the doll started jumping on the walls attacking then jumped on Zeke and proceeded to eat him. We were both being attacked.. Both had an stuff animal in our dreams.. At 330am this morning... Tell me what are the chances of that happening? I'm getting footsteps again (figured neighbors cause its summer and kids are home) but now tapping shadow shapes again (around 1030 last night).. And I'm prepared again this time and will take care of it in the morning (by prayer, sage, and holy water.) I already said a prayer with Zeke and by myself and its quiet now. But I will still take the time cleanse my home and pray again.

It's good to hear an update... however, I'm sad that you are dealing with this again.

While I don't know exactly how your pastor handled the situation, he was partially correct. A home is always going to be weak to demonic attack unless it is a Christian home. Using prayer and holy water isn't going to do you a lot of good, if other things are going on in this home... such as pagan beliefs or even a lack of taking Christianity serious. Any real, pure deliverance is going to ONLY come through Christ... and the only ones that are really protected that way are the ones that take it seriously. The name and authority of Jesus cannot be used at our will to scare bad things away.

Christ warned us in scripture more than once that demons do have rights to COME BACK. If you want a legit and final deliverance from this, don't leave them a reason to come back.
