My now ex husband came over from England in '07 to marry and be with me. We were married in '08. I unexpectedly got pregnant in '09 and he didn't want to keep the baby. Now that our son is here, he says he is glad. He was given his 2 year permanent residency/green card in April of '09. He left me in Sept '10 for a woman he works with. Our divorce was final before the date of his green card exp. But just by less than a month. Supposedly he has an immigration attorney who was helping with removing the conditions of his status. He says he was granted a waiver to extend his card by one year, until I assume, his case is determined whether he gets his 10 year visa. Will our divorce before his 2 year exp affect him getting a 10 year visa? Also will him remarrying another US citizen help him stay? I wish he would go back. I believe now that he never loved me and used me to get our insurance. He has health issues. There also have been a lot of lies being reviled that tell me so. He recently lost his job, and since he works with his girlfriend, she has the same insurance as him. I found out this weekend he married her. I am sure it was so he could stay on the very good insurance he once had so he could keep receiving his treatment and medicine. Will him remarrying a US citizen help him stay when they look at his papers to determine if he gets a 10 year visa?
