What does your support order say? Usually this is specified in the order. However, if your pay is being garnished for the support, they will take it out for each pay period. But if you voluntarily pay, its generally monthly.

Child support is monthly. But as has been already stated it can be taken by garnishment of wages and that will depend on when your getting paid.

Some of the questions asked by OP:

What happen if the biological father is not on the b.c and hasn't taken a dna test?
What is a paternity test for in family court?
If my last name is not on my daughter birth certificate what will happen?
If I withdrawal from taken paternity test in a family court what will happen?
If I take a paternity test to change my daughter last name because she doesn't have my last name but someone else last name what will happen and will I have to pay for child support?
So if I amended the birth certificate to change my daughter last name to my last name would I have to pay child support in NewYork city?
Would I have to pay expenses in child support if the mother of my child is on public assistance?
Is child support every week or every month in New York City?

The combined parental income is multiplied by the appropriate child support percentage—17 percent for one child, 25 percent for two children, 29 percent for three children, 31 percent for four children, and not less than 35 percent for five or more children;

Child support is paid monthly unless the court order says other.

Good catch. I'm not going to merge the threads because they are separate and distinct questions. But any future follow-up should be posted to this thread or a reference should be made to previous questions.

There does seem to be a recurring theme here of trying to get out of paying support.

In NY it can be "per pay period." That can be weekly, monthly, something else. It can also be paid weekly, monthly, blah, blah, blah.

Several threads ago I formed the opinion that OP is looking for "outs" when it comes to support.
