I just bought a singer sewing machine antique that has a cranck and wood case. Can you tell me how old is this machine?

Hi Judy,

Hand crank sewing machines are actually in use and not just for collectors. People are using them in RV's, they use them when the power goes out, and people with particular religious beliefs use them too.

From the serial number I believe it was made in Kilbowie, Scotland, 1920's These sell for $50 - $400 depending on useable and ornamental condition. Look at machines sold on e-bay and compare the condition to yours.
