With the storms of the evening and just being paranoid, I listen for how often the sump pump goes off and then the ejector pump. I've been hearing the sump pump do its thing but not the ejector. There is no water in the basement that's the good news. Do I still need to be parannoid?

No, michelle, you don't need to be paranoid, relax, all is right with the world when the sump pump works properly. I know that from experience.

The ejector pump is only used for sewerage disposal to the main line. Rainwater shouldn't be getting in there. Sleep tight. (I guess proper grammar would be "tightly"! )
