Ok I'm back, now with a 1995 chevy cavalier. It cuts out really bad when going up hill. One mech tested the pressure, and it was really low. My question is this a fuel pump problem or a relay or sensor problem. I was reading on another post and seems that this year was bad for fuel pumps. I just wanted to see if anyone else thought it could be something else since fuel pumps are almost 300 bucks. I also heard of something on the tranny that could be causing this too, can't remember the name of it, but it is suppose to help with fuel milage. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, as I am a singe mom. Thanks, Jolene :)

Before replacing the fuel pump, try changing the fuel filter. The filter may be clogged and affecting fuel pressure.
