Me and my ex go to the same college.
School is almost over, and since he initiates a talk with me before, I decide to turn it into a more casual way.

So I texted him: " hey wanna meet one day for coffee or something? Just a small catch up before summer!"

An minute after

He reply: " i think thats a good idea"

What does that suppose to mean? Is he meeting me?

Because you initiated the possibility of a coffee date, and he accepted, now you have to finish what you started.

Text him back with a time and place.

So I initiate to have a coffee thing with my ex
However, the time does not work for us...

So I end up saying... " oh, wow, such an unfortunate! I have something this morning, so i could not meet you. I guess i will push this back to the next time! Good luck on your final!"

And he text back," thanks, i appreciate how mature you are being!"

My question: when your ex boyfriend appreciate your mature...
Is this a good thing?

When the moment I saw the text I did not know why I almost want to cry...
Was I touched? I am so confused!

If your ex's still able to confuse you,I suggest you don't do the coffee thing.

It's clear he's moved on-as should you.

He has sent it to show that he is not disappointed and he is being nice to you. But your reaction clearly shows you have not moved on. Until then, no coffee. You will only end up complicating things so much, like a mesh in the noodles.
