I have a hot water heater which is in a "closet" with the furnace. Last summer we had a problem where the hot water heater kept shutting off, so I ran the drain from the ac (which was just draining onto the metal flooring) all the way into the drain hoping that would fix the problem. It helped, but did not fix it, then summer ended we shut off the ac and didn't have a problem all winter. This is the same blower that runs the furnace and the ac unit, and now summer begins and the same problem is back where I have the hot water heater shutting off. It lights right up every time, and runs for a few days, or maybe a week or so. Any ideas please let me know.
