This is the 8th time in 2 months since we have had airbubbles come up into our toilets and the contents that were just flushed backed up into our tub. We have one full bath and one half both are on the second floor! And when this happens we also get a huge leak from our kitchen ceiling downstairs! Every time this has happened we have called the office and let them know!and every time they send maint. To the house and they snake out the drains and go in the attic and snake out those drains and downstairs in the laundry room and snake those drains too! And today they broke the snakes blade when trying to unblock it! They finally called a plumber but does this sound like I will need to pay or the landlord company and is this something that I couldve caused?

With the recurrent problem and their line cleaning, I don't see how you are liable. That being said, if they find the object blocking the line is yours, toys, hygiene products etc, they may try and hold you liable. However, with them opening the drain 8 times in 2 months. Indicates you have a continuing drain issue not of your causing.
