I needs info, on can our church sue the bank, and or file criminal charges against the loan officers.
This is the story, Our church has been building a building on a prime piece of realistate. In the middle of the building process, the bank comes in takes over the construction says it will directly control the moneys and pay the contracters. They pay many of the contracters with the money they loaned the church before the contraters finish, and the contraters never finish the job. They the bank continually delay the building construction. Because the because the money is wasted the talk the church to get a second loan. They do the same thing pay the contracters before they finish. The church also catches that one of the banks employees was embezzelling money from the church writing false chaecks in the Pastors name. Before the embezzelment was caught several high giving members left because they thought the pastor was stealign the money. They also pulled out many people with them from the church over this. The bank continues to pay contracters before the finish. And tries to keep church from occupying building. Also the work that is unfinished by contracters in subquality work. No advidavits are signed aproving the work. When the church board tries to complain about whawt bank is doing they bank threatens to just call the loan note immediately due. The church rolls up its sleeves and just does the work itself. And at much opposition of the bank get a permit to start using the church. It is just been found out through an insider that the reason that bank was doing all this stuff against the church is because several other very wealthy businesses that wanted the property were willing to pay the bank double to get it. One of these main companies was a funeral home who wanted the land and the new church construction to make a musoleum, crematoreum and viewing sight out of it seeing that the church construction is near and very large national cematary. The church is meeting in the building finally, but they asked the bank for the money back that was embezzeled and the bank siad that unless the pastor signed and a form saying that hey would not sue the bank they would not give back the money.

Hello rick:

Hire a lawyer.. You SHOULD have had one from the start, but this is not the time for recriminations.
