I'm having my above ground pool replaced (yep, the whole thing). It's being installed on Friday morning.
My installer has advised me to only fill the pool up about 1 foot after the install and let it set for 24 hours. This is to test the new liner for any leaks. He says it's rare, but sometimes new liners can leak at the seams.
My concern is that if I let the new liner set for this long in the sun without water in it, it will shrink and get damaged.
Are my concerns valid? Should I follow my installers advise or have the water truck come on Friday afternoon?
Please advise.
Thanks.
