I have a 14 yo daughter that keeps making accusations against me and my husband. Every time DFACS & the court systems find that we are NOT guilty. Excessive court costs involved not to mention the trauma it has on everyone involved. What can I do other than signing over my parental rights to her father??
Please help,
A worried & emotional torn mom...

First you can't sign over your parental rights. However, you can allow the father to become the custodial parent.

But I think you need to get to the bottom of why she is doing this.

First you can't just "sign her over" like a used car. You can ask her dad if he wants to file for custody and change custody of the child.

Have you gotten the child mental health counseling

You ask this under Family Law. You could also bring it up under Parenting.
I'm curious to know how many times the court has ruled on her allegations?

When a teenage girl is in a home with a man who isn't her father, and neither is comfortable with the other, the confusion and tension can be exaggerated (or not) and used to express anger over the broken marriage. Sometimes everyone needs counseling to sort it all out.
