Yes, some women will experience this due to an increase in prolactin (a hormone often associated with breastmilk production) levels caused by some blood pressure meds. This in turn can have an effect on fertility. Your doctor would be able to do some testing to determine what your levels are and whether or not it may interfere with conceiving. A change of medication may be suggested if you are trying to conceive.

Sorry to jump in on someone else's question but, me and my partner have been having unprotected sex for 10 years now and have never fallen pregnant (thankfully, I'm not looking for that yet), but my doc wanted to check it out and gave me an exam and interogation and thinks I may have blocked tubes after a about of Chlamydia, years ago.

Anyway, back to point, I have the same nipple thing, but am not on blood pressure meds... is it something to do with fertility alone?

Hi tylosoph, welcome to AMHD,

I've asked that your post be moved to a thread of its own. It will be seen by more people that way so that you may receive more responses... :)

It would be wise to let your doctor be aware as there can be a number of possible reasons for discharge from the breast. Has your doctor run any hormone testing on you? You can have high prolactin levels without it being due to medication use. This can also play a role in fertility.

Has your partner been tested as well? Often times there is a male component that results in the infertility of a couple.
