Hi,

Soo OK I was going out with this guy I went to school with from oct last yr until Jan this yr then we broke up and got back together for 2 months and then split!
Anyway the problem is that my ex has some problems he suffers from PTSD post traumatic stress disorder! He attacked his ex partner and went to court for it but has now been to get help to deal with his problems but my friends and family don't like him and have no time for him! He can be the nicest most caring guy in the world but they don't give him a chance, I fell madly in love with him so quickly that I'm not sure if that's why I can't stop thinking about him! I miss him but I can't be with him if no one likes him or do I go with my feelings?? HELP!!

I think you stay broken up and move on with your life.

Hopefully he'll get the long term help to sort out his PTSD that he needs-he shouldn't really be in a relationship until that's been properly taken care of and that takes time.

Please give yourself some time to get over this failed relationship as its all he can do is deal with his own issues.

You need to distance yourself. Breaking up and getting back together isn't exactly healthy for either of you. He sounds like he's going through other issues and perhaps it's better for you if you just moved on. It'll be hard at first but it's going to be better for you in the long run.
