Hi maybe you could help me: My fiancé and I moved into an apartment together. We could not put his name on the lease due to background check. Its been 12 months and he has helped pay rent or any bills. He has also become hostile and disrespectful of my property and furnishings.
I have asked him to leave several times, even giving him advanced notice. He refuses to leave.
I need to know what do I have to do to have him evicted from my apartment.

You evict him according to the laws of your State - where are you?
What are your grounds for eviction? Non payment of rent? (Did you agree on paying the rent?)

I agree... follow the legal eviction process for your state. We can't give specifics without knowing what state you live in or even what country. After that time has passed have him legally evicted in court. Then the Sheriffs will physically remove him and his property from the residence.
Its very important to follow the eviction process to the letter to get him out as quickly as possible. Any shortcuts will only let him stay longer.
