This is very little information, but all I can remember is it is a movie right about the time we went from black and white to colour if I remember correctly. It was about a bunch of army or marines stranded on an island and while they are searching they find a horse tied up with Ithink it was wire. They rescued it and when it came time for them to leave they could not take it but they refused to leave it. I don't know any of the stars that were in it, if you can figure this out it would be fantastic
