I live in Kentucky.  We are building a new home.  I have a genral contractor and he hired a plumber to rough in the basement plumbing.  It is all wrong.  He put my bar sink in the middle of the room... In the bathroom I wanted a sink, urinal, and a toilet.. he plumbed it for a sink, toilet and a shower.  He forgot to put in any floor drains which I asked for.  When I told him about he mistake the said he would fix it but that the floor drains are considered Openings and he charged $400 an opening.  So he wants me to pay $400 each for two floor drains.  Remember all the plumbing in the basement is rough in, I don't plan on finishing until about a year after the house is built.  I guess what I am asking is how much rough in plumbing should cost and is a floor drain really considered an opening?
