My kenmore dishwasher will not start. Only the heated dry lite will come on eat can I do to fix problem

I hope this isn't too obvious, but It's very common: maybe someone didn't stop the last run before the dry cycle was over. Then it's a simple matter of resetting the whole cycle (which will vary by make and model, and I don't know yours) or letting it finish.
