Hey I'm a 20 year old female, I had unprotected sex 3 weeks ago on a Sunday, 5 days later I had a normal period, but recently I've been getting heartburn, feeling sick and tenderness of the tummy occurred today, is it possible as I've heard of people getting periods throughout there pregnancy but just 5 days after having a regular period,?

It would not be the norm to become pregnant right before a period, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. You wouldn't technically have a period if you were pregnant, although some women do have some spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy.

Your discomfort could be simply that you are fighting an illness. See what happens when your next period would be expected. If it doesn't show, try a pregnancy test being sure to follow the directions carefully.

It's very rare and most would have you believe it's not possible I have relatives that had things happen differently. But, it doesn't sound like you're pregnant, probably just worried about it. You can worry yourself into false symptoms, it happens. But, if you had a regular period it's highly unlikely your pregnant because implantation would be the reason for bleeding this early and it's not bright red or as heavy as a normal flow just like light spotting and a pinkish or brownish color only lasting a day or so.
