I have a 2000 ford with 7.3 diesel 4x4
I had it in a shop awhile back and they replaced the fuel pressure regulator, camshaft position sensor and they found the cmp intermettant and the ipr stuck closed they fixed that. When they test drove it the said the turbo was under boost and needed replacing,did not have turbo replaced, not sure what under boost means. I am mechanically inclined but was on the road so had to go to shop. I have a off road air cleaner system on truck. Lately when I come to a stop sometimes the truck will die when I try to accelerate. Truck will start back up immediately and has not set any codes in the computor.

I would install a new Motorcraft turbo and only use full synthetic heavy duty diesel engine oil. This link should help (Items 12 and 13):
