I'm 23yrs. Its been 6weeks since I've given brith to my 3rd baby and still haven't had a period, yet. Is that normal? Or could I be pregnant?

Are you breastfeeding? Most women don't menstruate while they're breastfeeding. It's one of the perks of breastfeeding. ;)

Even if you aren't breastfeeding it will take some time for your period to return to normal. You should remember this from your other 3 pregnancies.

Remember, you will ovulate before you have your period, so don't rely on breastfeeding to act as a form of birth control. If you're having sex, pregnancy is possible.

The fact is, you just hit your 6 weeks, which means that you should just be resuming sexual activity (you're supposed to wait at least 6 weeks after giving birth) so even if you were pregnant, it would be entirely too soon to tell.

Talk to your doctor about birth control methods. Having a back to back pregnancy is not good for your body, so it's best to take precautions.

My 2nd baby and my recent baby are 11months and 15days part and at one point I was breastfeeding both babies before my 2nd baby turn one. Could that still ffect me by not having a period?

Please don't start multiple threads for the same issue. I'll ask the mods to merge your threads. It helps if all the info about one issue is kept together.

Your third baby is now 6 weeks old according to your other thread. If you're breastfeeding exclusively, then yes, that is the reason you're not getting a period. It's when you stop breastfeeding exclusively (usually when the baby starts solid foods, or if you supplement) that your period will resume.

I have to add, even once you start the baby on solid foods, or you supplement, it can take time for your body to resume menstruating.

With my second child I breastfed for almost 3 years. Obviously not exclusively. She started solid food at 5 months of age. I didn't get a period for over a 1 and 1/2 years.

So, be careful about relying on breastfeeding as birth control. You never know when you'll start your periods again, even if you're breastfeeding.
