Ok, so here is how it went: It all started on October 8th of 2010. I met and started dating a great girl named Nichole. We hung out for one night and didn't see each other again until Monday (We are both in high school). So, on Monday she breaks up with me saying that we should just be friends for now but maybe we could make it work later on. Well, I'm going to keep waiting. I've tried dating other girls, but I can't get her off my mind. She is all I think about, day in and day out; dawn to dusk. What can I do? Either to get her back or to deal with it? Thanks.

I assume you dated from October until now, and didn't just hang out once, but read the stickies (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/relationships/) here, because when a girl dumps you and starts talking that friendship crap, and getting together later, its best to bow out gracefully and move on to better things.

It was fun while it lasted, but now its over. Sorry for your loss but its time to do your own thing without her, and get ready for the next dating adventure.

Sorry for your loss, but there will be others... when you are ready!

You are infatuated with a girl. It happens... To everyone. You need to stop obsessing over it and start detaching yourself from her because once it turns into obsession it is very unhealthy. She most likely isn't coming back and you need to open your eyes and start dealing with reality. See this as a good experience, say thank you, and move on with your life. Perhaps don't be with girls for a while, learnt enjoy life as single and your relationships will be more fruitful.

Good luck,
