If you have been having sex, then pregnancy will be a possibility. It could also be due to ovulation, breakthrough bleeding if you are on hormonal birth control, a change in hormones, recent intercourse or pelvic exam, etc..
If you think pregnancy might be possible, see what happens when your next period would be due.

Yes, you ovulate before a period. It can vary a bit from person to person as to when that might occur.
If you have been taking the birth control as directed, it would not be likely that you are pregnant. Pregnancy can happen, more so if you miss a pill here or there, but it is not likely.
A pelvic exam can be when your doctor or midwife would check you internally to see that all is well with your reproductive organs, such as when you have a papsmear done or during pregnancy. It can sometimes cause some irritation and some women may have some spotting, or light bleeding, for a day or two after.
See what happens when your next period would be due.

There's no way for anyone to give you a guess on what your chances are. You really do have to wait and see what happens with your next period. If you miss it, then try a home pregnancy test.
Sadly that's the only way to know what's going on, and it's way too early to test now.

I just have to add. If you're trying to conceive it's best to get off the pill completely. If you don't wish to conceive then you really have to take the pills as directed, otherwise it's the same as not using any form of birth control.
