Hi Everyone,

I have a money tree which is sick. I got this tree as a present, and didn't realize that the bottom of the pot didn't have holes for the water to drain. I had noticed that the tree was getting limp and realized there weren't any holes. I repotted the plant and thought it was getting better, and watered when the soil looked dry. Recently I realized that there was a creamy white paste at the base of the plant on top of the soil. I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me please

Here are some pictures

Although a gardener, my knowledge of the money tree was sketchy to say the least. I googled 'care of money tree' and EHow website came up with everything you would want to know about the care. Akways remember though, that a pot may be dry on top but the plant may have plenty of water down lower. It is always a good idea to own a device from a gardening store which when entered into the soil beside a plant, lets you know how wet it is underneath.
