My next door neighbor has a fairly new Allegro Motor home that he tows a 2005 Jeep behind. The Motor Home has just the red stop/tail/blinkers all in one Red light on the rear of the Home. The Jeep has yellow turn signals and then has separate red lights for tail and brake lights. He had it wired by a local shop that didn't get it right because the only lights that work for turn/brake and tail lights are the yellow lights. In addition, as soon as he plugs the jeep in to the Motor Home, the marker lights and running light fuse blows on the Motor Home. My question is this. He has heard, tha tthere is some kind of diode that prevents feedback to the motor home. Also, how do you separate the turn signals on the Jeep when the motor home only has the one lamp on either side. Please steer me to somewhere that I can get more information.

You will need a wiring harness that electrically converts the systems. Yes, diodes are involved or you will get feedback and the wrong lights will flash. Go to a Camper or travel trailer store and get the proper connector. New cars have direct plug in adapters.
