This has been very difficult to find. He claimed not to have known his father,and with his ethnic looks might have avoided telling anyone. Could he have possibly been Hispanic,Jewish,or American Indian in some part?Does anyone have any ideas?

Perhaps I can shed some light ::) on your mystery. The name Webb= WEBB (British). And it means "Weaver." Does that help? Tom
