I have a dining room table that is 40 years or more old. I absolutely love it and would love to get it refurbished. I accidentally broke two of the legs off.

I also have a old china hutch that's about the same age, and it needs refurbished as well. I think it was handmade.

Does anyone know about how much it would cost me to do this, or any good websites that might help me in figuring this out?

Thanks!

I think this collection of furniture repair and refinishing (http://search.thisoldhouse.com/search.html?Nr=AND(AND(topics_ids:homeOnt\:Furnitu reClass),OR(AND(topics_ids:tohTax\:Maintenance),AN D(topics_ids:tohTax\:Repair)))) posts from the venerable "This Old House" are a great start to your refurbishing task, especially if you are looking at DIY jobs. If you are looking at trying to get someone else to perform the work for you, I would suggest looking up "furniture refinishing" or "Antique Refinishing" on Google with your zip code and call around. I would expect there to be a premium on this type of labor.

As a DIY project, I think the pride of the final product would last years, especially as the piece is handed down to the next generation.
