Please stop typing in caps.

How old is the child?

If you want custody of her you need the consent of her parents. If you can't get that consent and can prove she is being mistreated, then you would have to file a complaint and cross your fingers that you ultimately get custody.

In some States Grandparents have rights; they do not in others. Where are you?

Are the parents married, unmarried, divorced, something else?

Why after raising the child for so long does your son not want you to have contact?

My son had her at 15yrs old, and the mother was 14 yrs old, the mothere left her at our house when the child was 3.5 weeks old and never came to get her, about 6 months old the mother decided to try and see her, the time she was gone the mother was on drugs and my son who was at home with me, he got full custody of her when she was 6 months old, I took care of her while he was in school and when he turned 18 he left and went his way, I live in Oregon and the child is now 11yrs old, he was ordered to pay child support to me for her and now he won't let her see me, the mother does not see her very often, I have 50 people to verifie all that has happened, she is not in a good situation and I want to make sure she has a normal life and not be moved around so much, I have been the only one in her life that has been there for her on a regular basis,If you wish to know more please let me know.

The parents were never married, she has been passed back and forth to many time in her short life, Of you have any answeres please help with info, thank you

First, please use the Answer options at the bottom for follow-up questions and info, not the Comments.

Second, ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. You still haven't told us.

You have left the legal situation unclear here. Your son got full custody of her when she was 6? But he would have been only 16. If he was ordered to pay you child support, then the courts must have awarded you custody at some point. So what happened that he now has the child? And why won't he let you see her?

I asked you - "In some States Grandparents have rights; they do not in others. Where are you?"

There can be no definitive answer until we know where you are.
