What year did it become illegal to drive a snowmobile intoxicated in Ontario?

Interesting question. The Ontario DMV could probably answer your question quicker then I can. I think these laws went as far back as l970 when people started dying on ungroomed trails, probably from being decapitated by barbed wire fencing, running into trees, possibly running snowmobiles onto open water on lake Simcoe. I don't know. Would anyone actually get on a snowmobile and take off intoxicated? Would anyone knowingly drive under the influence?

Don't get me going. Ask another question about DUI and I can floor you with my knowledge.

Why do you ask? Has someone you know been charged DUI on a snowmobile?

As I stated. Get the exact date from the DMV in Downsview. You are on an international site, and only a few of us from Ontario actively volunteering and I don't exactly have this information at my finger tips, if that is what you thought.
