I own a home in Texas that I rented out to a tenant that has a two year lease so I could move to Florida to help my brother get over the death of his wife. It has been one year and my brother is ready to get on with his life now. Unfortunately, with the Florida economy being so bad my business here is not doing well. I did much better in Texas. I would love to be able to move back into my home in Texas and reclaim it as my primary residence. I have been renting a home in Florida. Is there any way I can do this legally? I have had no issues with the tenant in Texas. She is a good tenant and pays her rent on time and I have no complaints against her.

Sure. You can offer to buy her out of the remainder of the lease. Maybe a couple months rent would do it.

Either that, or find another place to rent nearby until the lease is over.
