I have an obscure movie question about a possible anime/manga film. I think it was in the 80's. I remember very little because I was so young watching it, but I remember it because it left an indelible mark.
Main character was boy/girl, around 10, looking for family, friends, and can't find anyone, forest type setting. An older child, teenager, like 16, I think wearing a dark cape outfit, comes to bring him to his castle. However, the castle (could have been a boat or a house, details are vague) are actually made of all the people he knows that have been turned into flat puzzle pieces that fit together to make the structure. Really can't remember the details of how it ended either.
