I ran system recover program. My computer reset itself. I still can't update my internet explorer. It will not let me load up my avg virus software. I have loaded up avast anti-virus. But when I do the next time I turn off computer I have to use my recovery disks and run the system recovery program again to get the computer to work again.

Any one have any thoughts?

I am runninbg a virus scan now from Panda.
