Today my banks processor sent 4 of my statements a long with 25 other customers statement all together in one large attachment to all 26 of us. So not 25 other people have a copy of all 4 of my checking account statements for the last month. There was suppose to be a password on the attachment, but it did not work either. Is that something I can sue for.

Hello p:

In order to sue, you'll have to prove that what they DID cost you money, and you have to PROVE how much it cost you.

You can sue anybody for anything, but if you expect to win you must show that you were damaged in some way. You haven't shown us that you have been harmed.

If the bank is a U.S. Bank I would file a compliant with the Office of the Controller of the Currency (OCC) and they will try to resolve your situation for you. The OCC charters, regulates, and surpervises all U.S. national banks.

Here is the link to the OCC: OCC.gov Home Page (http://www.occ.treas.gov/)

The question is whether the OP can SUE - not unless there is monetary damage.

The OCC has nothing to do with lawsuits.
