I am 24 and have been trying to get pregnant for 3 months now. I schould have ovulated 3-4 days ago, and if that is correct I had unprotected sex 1-2 days after I ovulated. I want to have a baby so badly. I noticed yesterday that I was having very mild cramps. The cramos have continued today as well. I also noticed that I had pain in my breast today that left after a couple of min.. I was just wondering if this could be a sign that I am pregnant or am implanting. My first day of my last period was around the 10-12 of march (I forgot to write it down so I am not sure) I had sex on the 27th and think I ovulated on the 25th or 26... Could my dream have come true? Is this a sign? I have been praying hard the last two days for a baby.

Unfortunately, there's no guarantees.

Have you talked to your doctor yet about becoming pregnant? They can help you learn how to determine exactly what day you are ovulating and most fertile and give you other tips for a healthy pregnancy.

If you haven't already, I would schedule an appointment with your doctor. At this point it would be too soon for a test, but at least you can discuss tracking your ovulation and diet and vitamins and what not.

If I'm correct, your supposed to have sex typically the 11th to 13th day after your period finishes, right before and during ovulation, not after.

Ovulation only lasts roughly 24hours and sperm can live up to 3 days, so having sex before ovulation accures is usually the recommended way if your trying. But also every women is different, and can become pregnant at any stage in their cycle. I know this isn't your question but its just a little bit of information I learned and might benefit you if your trying.

If you did indeed ovulate on the 25th or 26th and then had sex on the 27th, it would be cutting it close. This is because once an egg is released, it is viable for about 24 hours (the first 12 hours are thought to give the best odds). There is a possibility that your calculations are off and pregnancy might then be a greater possibility.

Best odds for achieving success is to have the sperm ready and waiting in the days just prior to ovulation. What have you done thus far to help determine when you are most likely to be ovulating?

You wouldn't likely feel implantation just yet as it can take a few days for the egg to travel to the uterus and then another few days for implantation to be complete.

See what happens when your next period would be due. Hopefully you will be pregnant, but if not this cycle, then fingers crossed that it won't take too much longer for you! Do make sure you are taking a prenatal or multivitamin with folic acid in it while trying to conceive and making any other lifestyle changes that you know would be healthy.

Doulalc- I have been trying to keep track via counting days and paying attention to what's happening to my body. This month was a little harder for me to pinpoint when I was ovulating then prier months. It seems as though the clear stuff was heavy both on the 25 and 26... and I would have attempted on one of those days but I was away on a trip for work. I am taking a muti-vitamin that includes Zinc and folic acid. Counting has been hard for me (to see if I am accurate or not) because I am not too sure on what day I actually start my cycle. Ever since I went off the pill last year, I spot (barley anything and not through out the day) 2-4 days before I get a really heavy flow. If I include the spotting days my period would then last for 10 days, if I don't I have a normal cycle of 6 days. I do have a healthy life and eat lots of veggies and protein. I just wish that there was some way that even though I had sex on the 27th that it could still mean I am pregnant... I am due for my cycle in about a week or so, so everyone keep your fingers crossed...

It is possible you could have become pregnant from the sex on the 27th, but only time will tell. Often the clear, fluid, discharge is noticed in the days leading up to ovulation, so it could be that you saw the signs of your body preparing to ovulate. In that case, having sex frequently over the next several days may increase the changes of pregnancy.

Again, see what happens when you are due for your period. If you have to keep trying, watch for the change in discharge. That is the time to try in earnest for several days. Of course, if it is possible, having sex regularly throughout your cycle can help too in case timing is off.

Keep in mind as well that timing is just one aspect of becoming pregnant. All factors have to be in place. This is why there is only about a 20-25% chance of conceiving in any given cycle.

Good luck!

Some things have changed since I last posted... I have gas a lot and think that this is tied in with the mild lower tummy pains. I also noticed that I am having an incresed flow of breast milk (barley anything... I am trying for my second child. My first is a ccouple of years old). I have also noticed a slight increase in discharge but not by much. I am due for my period in 2 days. Today is Tuesday and at the very latest I schould start spotting or have a flow by Thursday... so what does everyone else think? Could I be pregnant or is this just by chance I am having these symptoms... or is it just pms? I can't wait to Friday as if I miss my pewriod this will be the day I will test.
